Salesforce Manual Tester

Job Overview

We are seeking a Salesforce Manual Tester to support complex technology and business transformation projects for clients across multiple industries and countries. The person in this role will contribute to ensuring that delivered solutions meet functional and integration expectations by designing and executing manual tests, reporting defects, and collaborating closely with analysts and developers. You are going to work within a 70‑member Quality Assurance Practice delivering projects for clients across industries including financial services, energy, telecommunications, public sector and education.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyse business and technical requirements to identify testable conditions.
  • Design test scenarios and detailed test cases covering UI, integration and API-level flows.
  • Execute functional user interface tests and integration/API tests.
  • Report, document and monitor defects through the lifecycle until resolution.
  • Provide regular progress reports for assigned tasks and testing activities.
  • Work closely with business analysts and developers to enable prompt and effective defect resolution.
  • Contribute to quality assurance process improvements and adherence to testing standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of software testing experience.
  • Practical experience testing Salesforce products.
  • Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of end-to-end business processes and their impact on testing scope.
  • Very good command of English for daily communication with international project teams.
  • Independent, proactive and well organised in managing assigned work.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
  • Desirable: Salesforce certification; ISTQB certification is an advantage.
