Job Overview
The organisation is seeking a Pega System Architect to design and deliver end-to-end, integrated solutions on the Pega Platform. The person in this role will translate business requirements into scalable Pega architectures, define integration strategies, and produce solution design documentation and architectural artefacts that support robust, maintainable implementations.
Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end integrated solutions on the Pega Platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
- Define integration requirements and translate business needs into Pega-based solutions that interoperate with surrounding systems.
- Map business processes to support applications, define data entities, and select appropriate technologies, components and patterns.
- Lead the design and implementation of integration strategies and ensure consistent application of architectural principles across projects.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and integration patterns to propose improvements to architecture and delivery approaches.
- Analyse complex integration challenges and develop solutions to enhance system interoperability and performance.
- Review existing implementations, identify reuse opportunities and define patterns to incorporate new requirements into current solutions.
- Create comprehensive solution design documents, architecture diagrams and other artefacts required for development and governance.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable expertise in Pega architecture and low-code application development on the Pega Platform.
- Strong experience in API design and integration architecture, including selection and application of integration patterns and technologies.
- Required certification: Pega Certified Lead System Architect.
- Proven senior-level experience in designing and delivering Pega solutions within enterprise environments.
- Proficient in mapping business processes, defining data models and producing clear technical and solution design documentation.
- Ability to analyse complex systems, identify reuse potential and formulate practical architectural recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present architecture and integration approaches to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
