We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend (Fullstack) Developer to join the Customer-Vehicle-Relation product team within the Customer Data Management (CDM) domain. The person in this role will contribute to defining, building and operating scalable services that represent the customer–vehicle relationship throughout the lifecycle. Strong delivery experience in integration projects and the ability to add value from day one are essential.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and operate backend services using Java or Kotlin and Spring framework.
- Develop and maintain integrations and APIs connecting multiple internal and external systems (including CRM and customer-facing applications).
- Collaborate with the product team to define service boundaries, data models interfaces that support the customer–vehicle lifecycle.
- Drive architecture and system design decisions for scalability, reliability and performance.
- Apply cloud best practices on AWS, including Infrastructure as Code and cloud security principles.
- Work with streaming and messaging technologies such as Kafka for event-driven integration patterns.
- Adopt a DevOps mindset: participate in build, deployment and run activities, and contribute to automation and operational readiness.
- Contribute to technical reviews, mentoring and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
- Proven professional experience as a backend or fullstack developer with strong expertise in Java and/or Kotlin (Spring).
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native design patterns.
- Demonstrable experience in API integration, event-driven architectures and Kafka.
- Experience in architecture and system design for distributed systems.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and cloud security best practices.
- Operational experience consistent with a “you build it, you run it” approach.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across product, engineering and client teams.
- Desirable: experience with JavaScript (Angular) and familiarity with Salesforce APIs.
