Integration Engineer with PING

The person in this role will design, build and validate Ping SaaS and PaaS platforms and implement integrations to the client's target systems. The initial phase focuses on platform construction and system integrations, with a subsequent phase managing migration of production flows and use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy and operate Ping Identity solutions for SaaS and PaaS environments.
  • Integrate Ping components with external systems using REST, LDAP and other standard integration patterns.
  • Implement and maintain Ping Authorize and Ping 1AIC Cloud API connections to the client’s integration gateway.
  • Deploy and manage containerized workloads on AWS and OpenShift (Kubernetes).
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines following SRE practices to support reliable releases and automation.
  • Perform benchmarking and performance testing to validate scalability and response characteristics.
  • Participate in SIT cycles, prepare test artifacts, diagnose integration issues and support resolution through to closure.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, testers and operations teams to ensure smooth migration of production flows in later phases.
  • Document configurations, runbooks and integration patterns to support maintainability and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Ping Identity products, including Ping Authorize and Ping 1AIC Cloud API integrations.
  • Experience integrating with external targets via REST and LDAP and familiarity with common integration patterns.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on AWS and OpenShift (Kubernetes).
  • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and SRE principles for automation and reliability.
  • Experience with in-memory datastores such as Redis.
  • Knowledge of benchmarking and performance testing methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot integration and performance issues across distributed systems.
  • Professional working proficiency in English (B2 or equivalent).
  • Relevant technical education or equivalent practical experience.
