OpenShift Integration Engineer

We are seeking an experienced OpenShift Integration Engineer to support the integration, automation and operation of an enterprise-scale OpenShift platform within a complex industrial IT/OT environment. The person in this role will concentrate on platform observability, security integrations, automation and infrastructure services to ensure reliable, secure and scalable platform operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain OpenShift and Kubernetes platform integrations across IT and OT systems.
  • Develop and operate observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch and OpenTelemetry to deliver actionable monitoring and alerting.
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code and automation patterns using Terraform, Ansible and GitOps workflows, and manage related repositories and CI/CD integrations.
  • Integrate platform security components including IAM, PKI, backup and recovery solutions, and contribute to platform hardening efforts.
  • Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to manage DNS, DHCP and enterprise networking considerations for the platform.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis and produce clear technical documentation and runbooks.
  • Work with stakeholders across engineering, operations and compliance teams in large enterprise contexts to deliver stable and compliant platform services.

Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Practical experience with observability toolchains such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch and OpenTelemetry.
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation tools: Terraform, Ansible, GitOps principles and GitHub workflow management.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux system administration, DNS, DHCP and enterprise networking concepts.
  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM), public key infrastructure (PKI), backup/recovery strategies and platform security practices.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting ability and strong technical documentation skills.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments; EnergyIndustrial Sector or regulated-environment experience is an advantage.
  • Fluent English.
