The major organisation in the energy transmission sector, is seeking a senior Backend Developer (C# and Python) to support a long-term enterprise software development engagement. The person in this role will be technically strong, reliable and able to operate with a high degree of independence.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to backend development using C# and Python within enterprise systems.
- Participate in backend architecture design and related technical decision-making.
- Support development lifecycle activities including CI/CD, deployment and operational processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams to align implementation with requirements.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks, working independently to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Help maintain reliable delivery over the long-term engagement, including troubleshooting and operational support as required.
Qualifications
- Senior-level experience with professional development in C# and Python in backend contexts.
- Proven experience in backend architecture and designing/maintaining enterprise-grade software systems.
- Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices.
- Experience with deployment and operational processes for production systems, including monitoring and incident response practices.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and coordinate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Track record of independent work, technical ownership and delivering outcomes with minimal supervision.
- Availability for a full-time, long-duration engagement is required.
- Very good English skills.
