Senior FLEXCUBE System Analysts will join the Core Banking team supporting a large banking client. This senior techno-functional consultancy role focuses on developing, improving, and transforming the Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS) platform. The successful candidates will provide senior-level expertise for platform-level development, reduction of technical debt, core functionality enhancements, migrations, and transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyse, develop, and improve functionality within the Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking platform.
- Support platform-level development and the reduction of accumulated technical debt.
- Configure and analyse FLEXCUBE products, parameters, events, accounting roles, and accounting rules.
- Support ongoing migration and banking transformation initiatives.
- Analyse core banking processes and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Investigate production issues using database queries, application logs, interfaces, and technical documentation.
- Perform data analysis and validation using SQL.
- Analyse integrations using SOAP/REST web services and XML messages.
- Work with FLEXCUBE database, application, and interface architecture.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Core Banking, architecture, development, and support teams.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations for the long-term evolution of the platform.
Qualifications
- Proven, senior-level hands-on experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS) in commercial engagements.
- Strong practical knowledge of core banking operations, including account lifecycle, interest and fee calculations, accounting entries, and regulatory reporting concepts.
- Hands-on experience in FLEXCUBE product setup and parameters, events, accounting roles and rules, and familiarity with FLEXCUBE database and application architecture, interfaces, and integrations.
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Experience with SOAP and REST APIs and working with XML messages.
- Ability to analyse UNIX/Linux application logs and to interpret technical documentation and system specifications.
- Proven experience in production and/or application support environments and demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to independently investigate complex platform-level problems and to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Professional verbal and written English communication skills.
Desirable
- Familiarity with banking messaging and payment standards such as ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT/MX.
- Oracle FLEXCUBE certifications.
