Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Developer with German (min. B2) to join a Delivery2Cash team focused on end-to-end cloud billing. The person in this role will design, build, operate and improve a Cloud Cost Service and a Billing Converter that prepare and process cloud billing data. Working in an agile Scrum environment, you will blend software development, solution architecture and quality assurance to deliver reliable, scalable cloud-native billing solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and customize components within cloud-based applications and services related to cloud billing.
- Design technical architectures from business and technical requirements and ensure their successful implementation.
- Analyze functional requirements and translate them into concrete technical solution concepts and implementation plans.
- Create architecture concepts including database designs, component specifications, interfaces and service definitions.
- Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS technologies and AWS CDK.
- Develop and maintain relational database solutions (e.g., Amazon RDS / MySQL).
- Build frontend components and user interfaces using TypeScript, HTML and CSS as required by billing tools and dashboards.
- Implement backend services and integrations using Python and cloud-native development practices.
- Identify, document and validate non-functional requirements such as performance, security and operability.
- Estimate effort for technical solutions and development activities.
- Participate in design, code and test reviews to ensure solution quality and adherence to standards.
- Support quality assurance activities and monitor compliance with architecture and development standards.
- Collaborate with agile Scrum teams to continuously improve cloud cost management and billing services.
- Contribute to DevSecOps practices, test automation and the continuous improvement of development and delivery processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of AWS cloud architecture and development experience.
- Minimum 5 years of relational database development experience (e.g., Amazon RDS / MySQL).
- Minimum 5 years of front-end development experience using TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience with AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit).
- Minimum 5 years of professional Python development experience.
- German language skills at least B2.
- Fluent English.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Methodological expertise in software development methods and practical experience with Scrum and Agile approaches.
