SAP BW Solution Architect with German

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior SAP BW Solution Architect proficient in German to contribute to a long-term project within the transport and infrastructure maintenance sector. The initiative focuses on the digital transformation of inspection processes, replacing traditional paper-based documentation with a secure and auditable system for managing inspection data.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of technical components in applications based on SAP R/3, SAP BW/4HANA, JavaScript, ABAP, SQLScript, and SAP HANA-native architecture.
• Professional support in the preparation and execution of the migration from SAP BW on HANA to SAP BW/4HANA.
• Architectural consulting and functional support within the project context.
• Creation of IT concepts and solution designs for the project.
• Support for requirements workshops with business and IT departments of internal stakeholders.
• Effort estimation for the proposed technical solution within the project.
• Analysis and correction of defects in applications and technical components.
• Execution of design, code, and test reviews.
• Creation of system documentation.
• Preparation of delivery packages for the relevant applications.

Qualifications

• Min. 5 years of experience in backend development with ABAP/CDS Views 
• Min. 5 years of experience in backend development with SQLScript and JavaScript
• Experience as Implementation Lead in maintenance, covering frontend and backend development
• Experience in software architecture in maintenance with SAP BW on HANA / BW4HANA / SAP NetWeaver Gateway
• German language: C1
