Information Architect (Sales)

Job Overview

Our customer is seeking an Information Architect (Sales) to support the transformation of their sales function toward a data-driven and AI-enabled future. The person in this role will design and govern information architecture for sales and commercial domains, enabling improved segmentation, lead qualification, sales pipeline management, and sales performance. The role may also provide services to Marketing and Communications through a dedicated information architecture setup. This position reports into cross-functional data and business stakeholders and contributes to enterprise information reuse and AI-ready data foundations.

Responsibilities

  • Define and develop information architecture for sales and commercial information domains.
  • Support business concepts and information structures for segmentation, lead qualification, sales pipeline, and sales management.
  • Design reusable and governed data assets within a common data platform.
  • Align requirements from Sales Excellence and related functions with capabilities of a modern data platform.
  • Support AI-ready data foundations through clearly defined data products and governed information assets.
  • Contribute to common definitions, maintain data catalogs, and promote cross-functional information reuse.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, marketing, communications, and business support functions to ensure shared understanding and adoption.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Information Architect, Data Architect, or in a closely related role.
  • Experience with sales and commercial processes, CRM-related information domains, or sales performance management.
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms and data transformation/analytics ecosystems, with particular reference to Azure, dbt, and Snowflake. Deep hands-on technical implementation is not required.
  • Strong capabilities in information modelling, business terminology harmonisation, and data governance.
  • Ability to work effectively across business and technical teams to shape shared information assets.
  • Experience supporting data product design, reusable enterprise data assets, and data catalog initiatives is desirable.
  • Fluent communication skills in English.
