The company seeks an experienced Salesforce Integration Lead/Consultant/Architect to join a leading client in the insurance sector. The person in this role will focus primarily on solution design and will have the opportunity to remain involved in the technical delivery of Salesforce integrations. They will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to design scalable integration solutions within a microservices-based architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design robust and scalable Salesforce integration solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical designs and solution specifications.
- Define appropriate integration patterns and document end-to-end integration flows.
- Work collaboratively with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects and Developers to ensure alignment and feasibility.
- Ensure integrations satisfy functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, security and reliability.
- Provide guidance on best practices for API usage, data mapping, error handling and monitoring.
- Support technical delivery activities as required, including review of implementation and resolving design-related issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in designing and delivering Salesforce integrations.
- Experience working within microservices-based architectures.
- Strong knowledge of integration protocols and patterns, including REST, SOAP and event-driven approaches (Kafka).
- Ability to define and govern NFRs (performance, resilience, security, volumetrics).
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and clear documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proactive, self-driven approach with the capacity to take ownership and work independently.
- Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in IT, computer science, engineering or a related field preferred.
- Salesforce certifications and experience in the insurance or financial services sector are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Fluent English skills.
