We are seeking an experienced Oracle AI/ML Consultant to join our team. The person in this role will lead and support implementations focused on configuration and optimization of machine learning algorithms using Oracle ML or equivalent Oracle technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure and optimize machine learning models and workflows within Oracle ML or comparable Oracle technology stacks.
- Implement pragmatic solutions for data preparation, feature engineering, model training, validation and deployment in production environments.
- Collaborate with data engineers, database administrators and stakeholders to integrate ML solutions with Oracle Database and cloud services.
- Provide technical guidance on performance tuning, scalability and security for ML workloads on Oracle platforms.
- Document implementation plans, configuration choices and model evaluation results to support maintainability and auditability.
- Deliver knowledge transfer and training sessions for internal teams and clients to ensure smooth adoption and operation.
- Participate in technical assessments and propose improvements to existing ML implementations and practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in implementing and optimizing ML solutions within Oracle ML or equivalent Oracle technologies.
- Possession of at least one certification from the Oracle ML/AI pathway or an equivalent document, such as:
- Oracle Database 23ai SQL Associate or Administration Associate
- Oracle AI Vector Search Professional
- OCI Data Science Professional
- OCI Generative AI Professional
- Practical experience with Oracle Database 23ia or demonstrated equivalent experience with Oracle database technologies.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, data modelling and familiarity with model evaluation metrics and validation techniques.
- Experience with cloud-native Oracle services and containerized deployment patterns is desirable.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
