Job Overview
We are seeking a Fullstack Developer (.NET+React) to join a client building educational systems. The ideal person will have practical fullstack experience, strong awareness of performance and security implications across layers, and the ability to write efficient, maintainable code that keeps databases and servers stable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain web applications using .NET and .NET Core (C#) following MVC/MVVM patterns.
- Implement client-side features using React and Sencha ExtJS; adapt approaches from other frameworks (Angular, Vue, etc.) when needed.
- Work with large data sets in MS SQL Server, writing and optimizing queries and data access code to minimise database costs and latency.
- Review and improve code to prevent performance regressions and security issues across the stack.
- Collaborate with the team on architecture, code quality, version control (GIT and SVN), and deployment practices.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and contribute to capacity planning and performance tuning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with .NET and .NET Core (C#) in web applications using MVC or MVVM patterns.
- Practical knowledge of client-side development with React/Angular/Vue and experience or familiarity with Sencha ExtJS or similar component frameworks.
- Strong experience with MS SQL Server and handling large datasets; ability to write efficient queries and design data-access layers with cost-awareness.
- Solid understanding of web application performance and security considerations across backend and frontend layers.
- Experience using GIT and/or SVN for source control.
- Problem-solving mindset, attention to code quality, and experience working in cross-functional teams.
