We are seeking an experienced ML/AI Engineer to join a team delivering production-grade artificial intelligence solutions for a large insurance company. This engagement supports a major insurance company and involves the end-to-end delivery of AI capabilities for production use. The role requires a balance of machine learning development, systems architecture and integration work.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain ML/AI models in a production environment.
- Train models from scratch and perform fine-tuning of pre-trained models.
- Deploy and scale AI solutions using AWS services, including SageMaker, Bedrock and container orchestration on ECS/EKS.
- Design IT solution architectures following proven design patterns and best practices.
- Integrate models and systems with the existing ecosystem via APIs, REST, microservices and related integration tools.
- Collaborate with backend teams and business stakeholders to define requirements and implement solutions.
- Ensure code quality, maintain documentation and apply MLOps practices such as model monitoring, versioning and CI/CD for ML.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience working on ML/AI projects in production environments.
- Proven experience in IT solution design and familiarity with software design patterns.
- Advanced proficiency in Python.
- Practical knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and workflows, including PyTorch and TensorFlow; experience building, training and fine-tuning models; awareness of MLOps principles.
- Experience with AWS Cloud services relevant to ML/AI: SageMaker, Bedrock, ECS/EKS.
- Experience integrating systems via API, REST, Web Services; familiarity with Swagger UI and frameworks such as FastAPI.
- Working knowledge of databases.
- Familiarity with Java Spring Boot and microservice development.
- Knowledge of integration tools and practices.
- Practical English language skills for oral and written communication, approximately B2/C1 level.
