Senior C++ Developer with Qt/Qml

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior C++ Developer with strong experience in Qt and QML to join our development team. The person in this role will design, implement and maintain high-quality desktop and embedded applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software lifecycle. The position requires advanced C++ expertise, practical knowledge of Qt/QML frameworks, and a commitment to writing maintainable, testable code.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain C++ applications using Qt and QML for desktop and embedded platforms.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX designers and other engineers to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following industry best practices.
  • Create and maintain unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and continuous integration workflows.
  • Optimize application performance and resource utilization for target platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects and production issues in a timely manner.
  • Mentor other engineers, share knowledge of C++ and Qt/QML patterns and contribute to process improvements.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and make pragmatic decisions balancing quality, performance and delivery timelines.
