We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer, who will join our customer - fast-growing Swiss Software House.
DevOps Engineer will be responsible for development and implementation of CI/CD technology stack to build, deploy, and automate all maintenance and infrastructure tasks.
Duties
- Automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Collaborate with development, QA, and Operations teams to improve deployment processes and infrastructure reliability
- Design and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring best practices for security, performance, and scalability
- Drive the evaluation and integration of new tools, technologies, and processes to improve DevOps practices
- Establish and enforce best practices for deployment processes and documentation
- Ensure high standards of security, availability, scalability, and performance for all systems
- Owning Infrastructure based on Azure, working closely with Microsoft to build state of the art Infrastructure
Requirements
- Strong Windows & Linux Operating System and TCP/IP Networking fundamentals.
- Excellent Azure stack knowledge
- Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL Database
- Strong Experience in the IaaS, PaaS (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Packer,) as well as in the CI/CD stack (e.g., Azure DevOps) and especially on the Azure stack
- Excellent knowledge of Python and/or PowerShell/Bash for everything that is related to scripting automation
- Strong experience in supporting microservices architecture, management and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, …)
- Excellent knowledge of the GitOps and SecOps paradigms
- Excellent knowledge of source control, namely git and TFVC
- Fluent English.
